This route links two cities separated by a single river yet utterly different in character into one unhurried story, arriving into Shenzhen and departing from Hong Kong so there is no need to cross the border twice. The Shenzhen half runs from the futuristic 'Eye of Shenzhen' station at Gangxia North to the electronics stalls of Huaqiangbei, from the Contemporary Art and Urban Planning Center to the Guangming Science Museum and BYD's suspended Cloud Rail — every stop carrying this young city's particular sense of momentum and invention. The Hong Kong half turns the camera toward everyday life and living craft: the Peak Tram and the old 'ding ding' trams, the street food of Sham Shui Po, and the stilt houses of Tai O fishing village.
The whole itinerary is built for friends travelling together or families, and drops the time-pressured theme park day in favour of room to breathe: one private car and driver for the entire trip, no juggling between modes of transport, and no schedule cut to the minute. In its place, each city's strength gets a hands-on complement — a mini electronics build in a Huaqiangbei maker space, a neon-sign workshop at PMQ, and a Sham Shui Po food walk with a local guide — turning sightseeing into participation.

Day 01
Arrival in Shenzhen
Private pick-up on arrival and transfer to your hotel in central Shenzhen, well placed for the days ahead. Dinner nearby, and an easy first night to settle in before the trip properly begins.
Day 02
Futian and the Bay: The Eye of Shenzhen, Huaqiangbei and a Sunset Skyline
Morning stop at the 'Eye of Shenzhen', the striking metro hall at Gangxia North station, then on to Huaqiangbei, the electronics market known as 'China's hardware Silicon Valley'. A hands-on session at a small maker space lets you build a simple gadget of your own — a mini night light or a beginner robotics kit, with the difficulty adjusted to suit the group's ages. In the afternoon, the Contemporary Art and Urban Planning Center traces Shenzhen's forty-year leap from fishing village to megacity through its city models and exhibits. As the light softens, head to Shenzhen Bay Park or Talent Park for a waterfront walk and the skyline view across to Hong Kong
Day 03
Guangming and Yantian: From Science Museum to Seaside
Morning at the Guangming Science Museum, with its immersive, hands-on exhibits. In the afternoon, a return ride on BYD's suspended Cloud Rail, followed by a short transfer through the Ping-Yan corridor to Yantian. The day closes with a sunset walk along the Yantian seaside
Day 04
Crossing to Hong Kong: The Peak and a Neon Workshop
Check out and transfer to the Shenzhen Bay border crossing (roughly 30–60 minutes for immigration), with lunch in Central or Admiralty after leaving bags at the hotel. In the afternoon, the Peak Tram climbs to Victoria Peak for the full harbour panorama from the Peak Tower and Peak Galleria, before the tram descends and a 'ding ding' tram carries you slowly along the north shore toward Wan Chai and Causeway Bay, with a stop for photos at Golden Bauhinia Square. In the early evening, check into your Hong Kong hotel and head to PMQ for a hands-on mini neon-sign workshop, making your own small neon plaque to take home.
Day 05
Tsim Sha Tsui to Sham Shui Po: From the Avenue of Stars to the Back Streets
A Star Ferry crossing to Tsim Sha Tsui in the morning, visiting the 1881 Heritage site and strolling the Avenue of Stars, with lunch around Harbour City or K11. In the afternoon, the Hong Kong Space Museum, followed by a guided food walk through Sham Shui Po, one of the city's most authentic old neighbourhoods — fish ball noodles, egg waffles and a stop at a long-running dessert shop, with a wander past its old-school stalls and younger indie storefronts along the way. In the evening, gather along the harbourfront for the Symphony of Lights show.
Day 06
Lantau Island: Cable Car, Buddha and a Fishing Village
The Ngong Ping 360 cable car climbs to the Big Buddha and Po Lin Monastery, with lunch in the Ngong Ping village below. In the afternoon, continue to Tai O fishing village, wandering among its stilt houses and waterways — the most intact fishing-village life left in Hong Kong. An optional small-boat ride heads out onto the water, with a chance of spotting the Chinese white dolphin, and there is time to browse the dried-seafood stalls for a souvenir or two
Day 07
An Unhurried Last Morning, Then Departure from Hong Kong
A free morning at your own pace. After checking out, a private transfer to Hong Kong International Airport closes out this twin-city journey between two very different versions of modern China.

Every booking starts with a 72-hour cooling-off period: cancel within 72 hours of confirming and it's a full refund, no questions — however close to departure you booked.
After that, the ladder applies from your booking date, not from the day you call to cancel:
